Shipment Procedure
 

Introduction:

Exhibitors are NOT REQUIRED to get their brands registered in the State of Delhi to exhibit at BevINDIA 2010 Expo.

However, international and national exhibitors MUST FOLLOW the procedure to obtain permission from the State of Delhi to exhibit, display, and for tasting of alcoholic beverages (wine / spirits / beer) at BevINDIA 2010 Expo.

Vend Fee / Hologram:

  • Vend Fee and Hologram charges are to be paid to the Delhi Government (Excise Department) for exhibition goods being displayed at BevINDIA 2010 Expo
  • All exhibitors must remit the required Vend Fee and Hologram charges to Exhibitions India in advance
  • Holograms are affixed on each bottle, which will be verified and inspected by the Excise Department, Government of India

Wine / Spirits / Beer Vend Fees are:

  • Spirits: Rs. 600 per bottle of 750 ml
  • Wine: Rs. 300 per bottle of 750 ml
  • Beer: Rs. 20 per bottle of 750 ml

Bar License fee

Exhibitors need to apply for 3 Bar License to Delhi State Government for 2 days amounting to Rs. 3500/- per license

Road Permit:

  • On receiving international and national exhibitor’s shipment at Delhi, Exhibitions India will apply to the Delhi Government (Excise Department) for a “Road Permit” on behalf of the exhibitors

Sales / Tasting of Exhibits:

  • Sale is NOT ALLOWED before, during and after the event
  • Tasting to the general public is NOT ALLOWED
  • Only free of cost tasting is permitted for trade and business visitors
  • Counter sale of products during the exhibition is NOT ALLOWED. BevINDIA 2010 expo is a trade only event

Domestic Exhibitors

a) Shipments:

  • Domestic exhibitors MUST OBTAIN a “Transit Permit” from the respective State Excise Department. Domestic exhibitors will send their shipments via courier or by air freight for delivery to the Hotel Taj Palace at New Delhi. A copy of the “Transit Permit” must accompany the shipment.

b) Documents required from Indian exhibitors

  • Invoice / Packing list: Specimen copy of the invoice required from domestic exhibitors is attached. This is the only format recognised by the customs and state excise
  • No Objection Certificate (NOC): Specimen copy of the NOC from the respective State Excise Department from where they will be sending the shipment is attached
  • Road Permit: From the Delhi State Excise Department (which Exhibitions India will obtain after paying the Vend Fee and Hologram charges)
  • Participation letter from Exhibitions India
  • ITPO approval from Exhibitions India

Documents required from International exhibitors

  • Invoice / Packing list: Specimen copy of the invoice required from international exhibitors is attached. This is the only format recognised by the customs and state excise
  • Analysis Certificate: (copy attached)
  • Health Certificate: (copy attached)
  • Certificate of origin
  • Participation letter from Exhibitions India
  • Road Permit: From the Delhi State Excise Department (which Exhibitions India will obtain after paying the Vend Fee and Hologram charges)

Customs Duty for International shipments:

1. Exhibitors will have to pay the applicable custom duty or furnish a Bank Guarantee equal to the duty amount of the shipment.

2. The applicable custom duty rates are as follows:

  • Wine 160% of CIF value
  • Sprit 160% of CIF value
  • Beer 112% of CIF Value
